Whether this is the first Athletic club you have ever considered joining or you are looking for another club, St Laurence O' Toole Club is where you fit in. Since the nineteen twenties, the club has been taking care of people who want to train, compete, feel better, look better, live better.
Our Club prides itself on providing a motivating, non-intimidating and energizing environment for your physical activities. Our trainers are on hand to guide and support you. There is a wide variety of facilities throughout the club to benefit you - including a 400 meter all weather track plus hall for indoor training.
St. Laurence O'Toole Athletic Club has a 400 meter all-weather track. This track is ideally situated within Carlow town centre and adjacent to Askea's Church of the Holy Family, National Boys and Girls Primary Schools, Presentation Secondary College and Askea's Gaelscoil. The new club house is equipment with a Hall for athletes to stretch and warm-up, an indoor long jump pitas well as indoor high equipment. The club-house has a set of free-weights and a multi-gym with offices, toilets, showers, kitchen and balcony over looking the track.

The field area within the track also has everything a modern track should have such as 2 x Long Jump Pitts, Shot Putt Area, Discus Area, Javelin Area, High Jump Area and Hammer Circle. There is also a set of hurdles for the 400m track and two viewing steps for the finishing lines.
